I'm starting to get addicted to Dutch sweets. It may be a strange country with too much bureaucracy but they sure know how to make bread and desserts. Currently, I'm buying every week a package of Stroopwafels. They're kind of like thin waffle crackers sandwiching this sugary goo. But it's so good. Read more...

So I guess I'll start keeping a running diary of my daily going on's in Holland, just for kicks.
So anyway, lemme introduce my living situation and stuff.
-Working at Philips High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (basically like a red state) -Live in Veldhoven, suburb of Eindhoven with 6 other people. 1 Norwegian, 2 Swedes, 1 Swiss, 1 French and 1 Indonesian. And we're supposed to get another Frenchie soon. -Ride bike to work. (Everyone does. It's a Dutch thing.) Brand name is Juncker which aptly describes the condition of the bike. -Homeowner owns a doctor's office next door and likes to drop by for surprise visits to make sure that we're following the rules.
